NEW connection technology
eases your life when installing an ACS.
Unnecessarily complicated, in the past electricians had a difficult way of connecting cables to an ACS. Quickly the ACS was placed on site, but the connection of the mains was operose and time consuming.

Times you had to kneel in front of the ACS are gone now.

MERZ established a NEW connection technology on the market where you can connect all cables from the front, standing conveniently.

How does it work? Pretty simple:

• Release two screws and the base can be shifted aside unobstructed.

•  After taking off of the cover of the connection chamber the metrical cable gland can be removed.
  
  
• It is placed back to its original position together with the cable.
  
  
• The cover of the connection chamber can be placed again after the fixing of the cable by the new developed cable strain relief and the connection of the conductors to the terminals.
  
  
• At the end the base of the ACS can be closed again and fixed by the 2 screws. DONE!
  

All the work can be carried out from the front of the ACS, operations from beneath of the ACS ore no longer required. 

The new developed strain relief allows fixing conductors from 10 to 95 mm². No extended socket key is necessary any more; a simple flat spanner or ring spanner can be used. The captive pressure clamp highlights the high quality design.

It goes without saying that all this stands for a tremendous ease of works. Time saving, but as well reducing the physical stress of the electrician.
